With the release of her Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN) for 2018 yesterday, Negros Occidental Provincial Board Member Rita Gatuslao was identified as the wealthiest among the new members of the Negros Occidental Provincial Board with a networth of P34.5 million.
Board Member Valentino Miguel Alonzo came in second with a networth of P14.7 million.
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, who presides over the local legislative bosy, posted a networth of P100,538,000.
Under the law, public officials are required to submit their SALN annually.
Failure to submit or if false information is provided on the document may result in a six-year suspension on a first offense and dismissal from service on the second and final offense./DGB, WDJ
