Just like the Iloilo United Royals, the Bacolod Master Sardines will be playing a Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League at home next month, September 21. According to a social media post by Bacolod City lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya, more details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
“Save the date and show our support to ‘Team Bacolod,’” he said.
Local players on the Bacolod squad include Mark Dela Cruz, Nico Paolo Javelona, ES Santos, and Arben Dionson.
Meanwhile, Spencer Pretta and Ralph Tansingco are expected to make their debuts for the Bacolod City-based side as they are still involved in the 95th NCAA men’s basketball season playing for Lyceum of the Philippines University./ASC, WDJ
