Rain or Shine wins Game 3 of semifinal series

The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters pulled off a 112-104 win in their 2019 Honda PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series against the San Miguel Beermen earlier this week at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. San Miguel continues to lead the best-of-five series 2-1.
After leading by as much as 18 points, the Painters once again saw themselves trailing late in the game before Gabe Norwood came up with a layup and a triple for a 105-104 advantage. The Painters further extended their lead with two free throws from Rey Nambatac, a three-pointer by Beau Belga, and two more charity hits from Jayvee Mocon.
Carl Montgomery top-scored for Rain or Shine with a double-double with 25 points and 21 rebounds; while Nambatac finished with 22 points, 12 of which came in the second half; Mocon and Belga each contributed 16 marker; and Norwood also chipped in 11 points, with five coming in the final quarter.
Game 4 will be played tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum./ASC, WDJ
