At least one person was killed, while another was seriously injured, Tuesday night after two motorcycles collided outside a subdivision in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mansilingan.
Police identified the fatality as Ricardo Delos Santos, a resident of Barangay Taculing; while the injured was identified as Joeneric Maraet, a resident of Barangay Felisa.
Police Station 7 traffic investigator, Police Master Sergeant Ben Tajonera, said Delos Santos tried to dodge a dog that was crossing the street. However, the maneuver forced his motorcycle to operate against the flow of traffic, resulting in a collision with Maraet’s motorcycle.
Delos Santos was killed on the spot due to multiple injuries, while Maraet was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital after sustaining injuries to his elbow and foot./DGB, WDJ
