Ceres-Negros FC midfielder Bienvenido Marañon currently leads the ongoing 2019 Philippines Football League (PFL) in goal scoring, tallying a total of 16 for the Bacolod City-based club. Kaya FC-Iloilo striker Jordan Mintah trails the Spanish footballer by four with 12 goals.
The two have also each scored three hat tricks for their respective clubs.
Meanwhile, fellow Ceres FC midfielder Stephan Schröck leads when it comes to assists with nine. Marañon is tied for second place with four alongside Barotac Nuevo native Jovin Bedic, a stiker for Kaya FC, and Mediola FC forward Hamed Hajimehdi.
In terms of clean sheets, former Ceres-Negros FC keeper Louie Casas, who currently plays for Kaya FC, is tied for the lead with Green Archers United goalie Henry Bandeken with four each. Ceres keeper Roland Müller is one back with three./ASC, WDJ
