The Petron Blaze Spikers scored a 25-19, 25-15, 25-9 sweep over the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters last Thursday in the 2019 Philippine SuperLiga All-Filipino Conference at the San Juan Arena.
Shortly after being included on the Petron roster, Cherry Rondina made an immediate impact and finished with a double-double on 12 points and 20 excellent digs; while Mika Reyes and Mary Remy Palma each chipped in nine points; and Frances Molina added eight markers and 12 digs.
PLDT struggled in attack department, delivering 25 kills, nearly half of Petron’s 47.
In the other match, the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers pulled off a 25-17, 25-12, 25-23 straight-set victory over the Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy./ASC, WDJ
