Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led the third quarterly meeting of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City on Wednesday.
During the meeting, status updates were provided on the damage assessment pertaining to the enhanced southwest monsoon caused by Tropical Storm Falcon.
The governor was also briefed on the dengue situation in the province, wherein he ordered all council members to help mitigate the rising cases of dengue fever in the province.
The meeting was also attended by Negros Occidental Board Member Samson Mirhan, who chairs the Provincial Board Committee on Disaster Preparedness; and PDRRMC secretary, Dr. Ma. Lina Sanogal./DGB, WDJ
