Two boxers from Negros are expected to participate in the “ALA on Tour: Bakbakan sa Passi” tomorrow, July 26, at the City of Passi Arena. Romnick Magos of Mabinay, Negros Oriental and Danny Villafuerte, Jr. of Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental will both feature in the event.
Magos hopes to snap a four-match losing streak against Filipino-Japanese foe Go Hosaka; while Villafuerte will look to maintain his undefeated record against Bukidnon’s Christian Capuno, who is also undefeated.
Meanwhile, Kevin Jake ‘KJ’ Cataraja of Cebu will face Delfin de Asis, a fighter from Valencia City, Bukidnon.
Passi City Sports Development Officer III Randy Palomaria said the event is free to the public./ASC, WDJ
