Mayor says no need for electric fans by the end of the month

With Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas earlier committing to have all Iloilo City Hall air conditioning units operational, he recently noted, the repairs will require a budget of P900,000.
He said there are 68 air conditioner united in need of repair, along with preventative maintenance for three elevators.
The mayor also stated, he does not want to see electric fans in use by the end of the month, which he said would be indicative of a functioning air conditioning system.
Treñas also pointed out a leaky roof, especially in the Mayor’s office.
“I have also seen cracks [on] roof deck left unattended [and] that is why the Mayor’s Office is leaking during rains,” he pointed out. “We need to do repairs for water-proofing.”/WDJ
