Brownlee lifts Ginebra past the Dyip in OT

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel leaned on forward Justin Brownlee in their 127-123 overtime win over the Columbian Dyip last Sunday in the 2019 Honda PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Brownlee came up with consecutive points in the extension period, including a three-pointer that surged the defending champions ahead, 123-120. After Dyip center Lester Prosper tired the game up at 123-123, the Barangay Ginebra center came up with a jumper for a 125-123 lead before LA Tenorio sealed the win with free throws.
Brownlee finished with 50 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and four blocks; while Japeth Aguilar contributed 20 markers for Barangay Ginebra.
Barangay Ginebra next faces either the Magnolia Hotshots or San Miguel Beermen in a best-of-three quarterfinal series./ASC, WDJ
