The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) said they will be reviewing camp protocols after receiving complaints from individuals who were barred entrance due to their attire. Individuals seeking police clearances were reportedly not allowed entry as they were wearing undershirts, or “sando,” and slippers.

BCPO director, Police Colonel Henry Biñas, who called the protocol a “good policy,” said the rule was implemented by former BCPO director, Police Colonel Francisco Ebreo. However, he said camp guards should use their professional judgment in emergency cases.

Meanwhile, Biñas noted, since the Metro Bacolod District Jail (MBDJ) detention center, which is located inside the camp, has its own gate, jail visitors will no longer be allowed to pass through the BCPO main gate and instead will be redirected to the MBDJ gate./DGB, WDJ
