Papal Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia, recently visited the Sacred Heart Seminary in Bacolod City as part of a four-day visit to the city. During the visit, seminarians were given the opportunity to talk with the diplomat.
In a video posted by the Diocese of Bacolod’s official news publication ADSUM, seminarian Nikko Nacion asked Caccia, amid the influence of social media, reported political persecution, and ecology, how would he advise seminarians to keep the missionary spirit alive?
Caccia pointed out, social media can be good if “used well.”
“Never forget there are truths but, most important, intentions,” he added. “We have to grow in the capacity to have good intentions.”
After the event, Caccia met with Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson for a dinner hosted by provincial government officials at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall.
