Globe myBusiness, Globe Telecom’s micro, small, and medium enterprise arm, recently held  eVolution, a workshop that provides talks and masterclasses to empower local entrepreneurs.
“Entrepreneurs are always looking for ways to get things done more efficiently and to grow their business,” said Globe myBusiness marketing services head Mary Gaile Guevarra.
The event was open to members of Lazclub, which is comprised of the top sellers on e-commerce firm Lazada. Various speakers were invited to discuss issues ranging from the best way to present products to proper accounting procedures.
LifeQuest Training and Consultancy Corporation training director Sonny Del Rosario, who served as a speaker for the event, stressed the need for an accountant.
“You need to have reasonably accurate financial records,” he explained. “Keep track of transactions, cash flow, and assets.”
“If you have good financial records, you develop good management habits,” Del Rosario added. “Your own records serve as a framework to examine the affairs of your business through a financial lens.”/WDJ
