After Atty. John Orola’s appointment as Bacolod City administrator expired last June 30, Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia has not yet named a replacement. The mayor said he had planned on meeting with Orola last Monday but the latter was reportedly out of town at the time.
The mayor said he wanted to speak with Orola in terms of refining their policy direction.
Considering one of the roles the city administrator is responsible for is signing checks issued by the city government, Atty. Allyn Luv Dignadice of the City Administrator’s Office has since been designated with the task.
With the city administrator post, along executive assistant positions, filled on a contractual basis, Leonardia said his appointments for executive assistant will be released soon./DGB, WDJ
