Negros Occidental provincial government recognized by DICT

The Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (NOLITC) Tech4ed Center was recently recognized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and was named top performing center in the Visayas Cluster 1.
Tech4ED, which stands for “Technology for Education, to gain Employment, train Entrepreneurs towards Economic Development,” seeks to provide employment opportunities and empower entrepreneurs.
There are a total of 185 TechED centers in the said cluster, with 3,144 operating across the country.
In addition, the NOLITC Tech4ED Center was chosen as a finalist for the DICT’s Gender and Development Awards. The ceremony is scheduled to take place from August 14 to 16./WDJ
