During the inaugural 35th Negros Occidental Provincial Board session yesterday, Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, who presides over the provincial legislative body, announced, starting next week, sessions will be held on Tuesdays instead of Wednesdays.
According to the vice governor, board members said the adjusted schedule will allow them to spend more time attending to the needs of constituents.
Meanwhile, a caucus was held and committee chairmanships were designated during the session.
The provincial board is comprised of 30 mandatory standing committees./DGB, WDJ
