According to Justine Fortune, strength and conditioning coach for Senator Manny Pacquiao, who is expected to return to the ring against Keith Thurman on July 21 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in the United States, said the boxer is training smarter.
“He’s good [and] doing proper now; he’s training himself right [and] slowing down when he needs to,” he explained. “We’ve been fighting a lot smarter and training a lot smarter.”
“He knocks out [Thurman], he’ll do a fourth in December, then he becomes ‘Fighter of the Year’ again,” the coach projected.
Pacquiao will be entering the bout with a 61-7-2 win-loss-draw ring record, with 39 stoppage wins; while Thurman carries a perfect 29-0-0 boxing record, with 22 stoppage wins./ASC, WDJ
