The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) College of Business and Accountancy recently held an event for their Student Internship Abroad Program, where they welcomed back the program’s fifth batch and sent off the sixth batch.
The program provides students an opportunity to intern in Japan.
Returning students Tiffany Trisha Villalva and Martie Munoz provided insight to the following batch and thanked the Chuo Food Company, a Japanese supermarket chain, for the opportunity to work with the firm.
UNO-R vice president, Fray Jose Alden Alipin, advised students to remember they are guests and visitors to a country and, while overseas, they are an image of both the country and the university.
Meanwhile, UNO-R president, Fray Don H. Besana, was also present and welcomed back the fifth batch and thanked them for their contribution to the company where they interned.
The sixth batch is expected to return on December 26./WDJ
