Stallion Laguna FC continued their strong start in the 2019 Philippines Football League following a 5-1 domination last weekend over Global Makati FC at the Biñan Football Stadium in Laguna.
Following early misses from the away side, striker Nicholas Ferrer put Stallion Laguna on the board in the 13th minute. Global midfielder Kouichi Belgira then scored an equalizer in the 42nd minute. However, midfielder Darwin Regala put Stallion Laguna up 2-1 just before halftime.
At the restart, Stallion Laguna midfielder Jesus Melliza and striker Nathan Alquiros put the home squad up 4-1.
Midfielder Fitch Arboleda later sealed the 5-1 win./ASC, WDJ
