Following his official swearing-in last Monday, Himamaylan City Mayor Raymund Tongson vowed transparency and efficiency in his administration.
“This city is a blank canvass right now; you can paint everything you want,” he said.
The mayor also promised his administration would “try to be transparent, fast, and efficient;” along with implementing “E- governance.”
He went on to discuss his priority projects, including calling on Negros Occidental fifth district Rep. Marilou Arroyo-Lesaca and various senators to help in completing the Himamaylan City-Tayasan road, along with maximizing use of their port in Barangay Aguisan./DGB, WDJ
