Columbian Dyip guard John Paul Calvo has been ruled out for the remainder of the ongoing 2019 Honda PBA Commissioner’s Cup after sustaining a shoulder injury.
In an interview with Watchmen Daily Journal, the Silay City-native said he sustained an acromioclavicular joint, or AC joint, fracture during the Dyip’s game against Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
“Nabangga ako ni Belga (I bumped into Painters center Beau Belga),” he explained. “Sinabihan ako na magpahinga ng two months (I was told to rest for two months).”
“Sa PBA Governor’s Cup sa September na ang balik ko (I will be back for the PBA Governor’s Cup in September),” Calvo added./ASC, WDJ
