A minor 1.9-magnitude earthquake was detected near Siaton, Negros Oriental over the weekend, striking just after 7:15 a.m. on Saturday morning.
A subsequent Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology bulletin reported no damages nor were there aftershocks expected.
