The Philippine National Police (PNP) has named a replacement for outgoing Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) director, Police Brigadier General John Bulalacao.
PRO-6 spokesperson, Police Lt. Colonel Joem Malong, announced Bulalacao will be replaced by Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan, who officially took over from his post in a ceremony yesterday. The incoming PRO-6 director previously served as director for the PNP National Support Service at their national headquarters in Camp Crame.
Incidentally, Pamuspusan was also in the same Philippine Military Academy class as Bulalacao.
Bulalacao formally retired yesterday after celebrating his 56th birthday last Wednesday.
During his last interview with members of Bacolod City-based media, the law enforcement refused to tout his accomplishments and said he will leave judgment to local residents.
“If I go to them one-by-one, I might say something that would be distasteful to those who I’ve clashed with,” Bulalacao explained. However, he acknowledged his “presence was definitely felt.”/DGB, WDJ
