A German-national was recently killed after he was stabbed by his Filipina live-in partner in Siaton, Negros Oriental.
Police have requested anonymity for both the victim and the suspect but confirmed they resided in the said town.
Siaton municipal police said, based on statements provided by the suspect, the victim was planning to leave her for another woman. As part of a plan, the victim also wanted to use the suspect’s motorcycle, which angered her. The suspect then picked up a knife and stabbed her partner in the chest.
The victim was rushed to a hospital in Dumaguete City but was declared dead on arrival by hospital staff.
The suspect, meanwhile, was arrested in a follow-up operation and may face homicide charges./DGB, WDJ
