The Department of Agrarian Reform-Negros Occidental II is currently conducting their Agrarian Agripreneurial Expo at the Ayala Capitol Central Mall in Bacolod City. The event is part of the celebration for the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program’s 31st anniversary.
The event aims to showcase products from Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations.
According to Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer Teresita Mabunay, the products show agrarian reform beneficiaries are “doing good with their farming and with the lands they are toiling.”
Some of the products for sale at the event include mangoes, fresh buko, guyabano, virgin coconut oil, turmeric and ginger brew, calamansi juice, squash chips, muscovado sugar, coco sugar, vinegar, coco vinegar, ground coffee, cacao, and assorted pastries.
Mabunay said she hopes the event becomes an annual fixture.
This year’s expo runs until Sunday, June 30./WDJ
