A shop selling roast chicken, or “lechon manok,” was robbed late Friday night in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.
Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Michelle Nasis, a Barangay Sum-ag resident and service crew member at the Chooks-to-Go branch in the said neighborhood.
Based on information provided by Police Station 8 (PS8), Nasis was on duty when the suspect entered the shop and declared a hold-up by pointing a kitchen knife at her.
The suspect then forced the victim to give up the shop’s sales, amounting to P14,650; along with her personal cash, which totaled P8,000.
The suspect then fled, while Nasis immediately went visited PS8 for help.
After Nasis identified the suspect from the station’s rogues galleries, investigators identified the suspect as Rafael Sotto of Barangay Banago.
Police are now conducting a follow-up operation against the suspect./DGB, WDJ
