The Cignal HD-Ateneo Blue Eagles won Game 3 of the 2019 PBA D-League finals earlier this week at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, scoring a 67-52 win over the CEU Scorpions. The winning side currently leads the best-of-five series, 2-1.
Ilonggo forward Ferdinand ‘Thirdy’ Ravena III led the win with 12 points and eight rebounds; while Angelo Kouame added 10 points, nine blocks, and seven rebounds for the Blue Eagles; and Geoge Isaac Go, who was earlier named conference MVP, added five points.
Holding on to a slim 32-27 halftime edge, Cignal HD-Ateneo went to work in the third behind inside conversions from Ravena, Kouame, Mike Nieto, and Matt Nieto for a 49-37 advantage.
Baskets from Adrian Wong early in the fourth period pushed Cignal HD-Ateneo to its biggest lead of 65-39.
