Teen electrocuted while fishing in Granada

A 15-year-old teenager was declared dead Sunday afternoon after he was electrocuted at Barangay Granada, Bacolod City.
Police identified the fatality as Harold Olarte, a resident of the said area.
Police Station 5 investigators said the victim was killed after using improvised electric fishing equipment while fishing in a river behind their house.
The teenager was rushed to the Bacolod Doctors’ Hospital for treatment, but was declared dead on arrival by hospital staff./DGB, WDJ
