The PetroGazz Angels scored a 25-19, 25-22, 25-18 sweep over the BaliPure Purest Water Defenders in the ongoing 2019 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference last Sunday at the Imus City Sports Complex in Cavite. With the win, they secured a final four berth.
PetroGazz went toe-to-toe with BaliPure early in the first two sets but Janisa Johnson and Wilma Salas helped the team take a 2-0 lead.
In the third, PetroGazz took control early on and built a comfortable lead to take the set and complete the sweep.
In the other match, the Motolite Power Builders came from behind to claim a 25-23, 21-25, 17-25, 25-21, 15-13 win against the PacificTown-Army Lady Troopers./ASC, WDJ
