Talisay City tour guides complete training

Two Talisay City Tourism Office staff members recently completed a regional tour guiding course.
Karen Borromeo topped the course, while Sheena Treyes ranked fourth.
The Negros Occidental Tourism Division, in partnership with Tourism Educators and Movers Philippines-Western Visayas and the Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6), conducted  tour guide training courses every weekend.
The 23-day course, which ran from March 2 to June 2, included topics such as personality development, destinations and activities, basic first aid, crisis management, Filipino culture, DOT accreditation, among others./WDJ
