Former NLEX Road Warriors point guard Mark Tallo is set to lead Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) expansion team, the Bacolod Masters, in the MPBL Lakandula Cup, which opened last night at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Among those joining him on the Bacolod City squad include Bacolodnon Nico Paolo Javelona, who used to play for National University and PBA team NorthPort Batang Pier; alongside Spencer Pretta and fellow Bacolodnon Arben Dionson, both of whom previously suited up for the Lyceum of the Philippines University.
ES Santos also made the roster.
Vic Ycasiano serves as head coach with Gilbert Malabanan as one of his assistants.
The team is still currently in the process of completing its lineup with tryouts held last Sunday at the Manville Royale court in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub./ASC, WDJ
