Army joins Independence Day celebrations in Bacolod City

Military units stationed to Negros will be celebrating the 121st Independence Day today under the theme, “A Tribute to Heroes,” through a photo and static display at the Ayala Capitol Central Mall in Bacolod City. The presentation is being facilitated by joint units of the Philippine Army 303rd Infantry Brigade (303IB) and 3rd Infantry Division.
303IB combat and combat support units are actively participating in the said activity in an effort to “make this remarkable day a successful one.”
62nd Infantry Battalion commander, Lt. Colonel Egberto Dacoscos, said he is very optimistic with regard to combating insurgency as the military is carrying on a tradition of defending the nation against foreign invaders./DGB, WDJ
