An abandoned infant wrapped in a plastic bag was recently found hanging from the gate at a residence in the Gardenville Subdivision, located in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub.
Police Station 8 (PS8) revealed a baby girl was found by the homeowner, Lida Borbon, after she heard dogs barking early in the morning last Monday.
She brought the baby to the barangay, who then handed the infant to PS8, and eventually to the Department of Social Services and Development.
Police said they are currently unable to identify who abandoned the baby./DGB, WDJ
