The Negros Occidental provincial government recently sent a notice to contractors ordering them to expedite completion of the Negros First Hostel and Negros First Food Terminal Market.
Acting Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Dr. Lucille Gelvolea, said the two projects were supposed to be included among project income for 2019 as they were originally supposed to be handed over within the first quarter of this year.
She noted, bidding for the supply of furniture and fixtures for the food terminal has already ended.
Both projects are part of the P1.2 billion loan borrowed by the provincial government from the Land Bank of the Philippines./DGB, WDJ
