The wife of the Banago man who stabbed his two children, aged two and three years old, while under the influence of illegal drugs said she will file charges against him, changing course from her initial statement, where she said she did not plan on pressing charges and insisted he would be enrolled in a drug rehabilitation program.
The wife, whom police have requested not be identified, decided to file two counts of frustrated parricide charges against the suspect.
The suspect has since been brought to the Bacolod City Prosecutors Office for inquest proceedings.
The suspect, a resident of Purok Sebucao in the said Bacolod City barangay was arrested by Police Station 3 after allegedly stabbing his two kids.
The suspect was noted to have been under the influence of illegal drugs at the time of incident and reportedly had not slept for five days./DGB, WDJ
