Sagay City celebrates Charter Day on Tuesday

Sagay City celebrates its Charter Day on Tuesday, June 11, with outgoing Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. leading the celebration at the Taliambong Activity Center.
The governor will serve as guest speaker and administer the oath of office for Sagay City Vice Mayor Narciso Javelosa, Jr. and the members of the city council. Meanwhile, the governor’s son, Alfredo Marañon III, alongside Negros Occidental second district Rep. Leo Rafael Cueva, will take their oaths of office before Regional Trial Court Judge Reginald Fuentebella.
Among the events expected to take place during the celebration include a job fair, the Little Lin-ay sang Sagay pageant, bicycle fun run, Co-op Day, game fishing competition, among other activities./WDJ
