Cignal HD-Ateneo Blue Eagles forward Ferdinand ‘Thirdy’ Ravena III scored 19 points in their 100-73 win last Thursday over the Valencia City Bukidnon-San Sebastian Stags at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, which qualified the team for the 2019 PBA D-League finals.
Ravena also contributed five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block; while George Isaac Go added 13 markers; and Angelo Kouame registered a double-double with 12 points and 18 rebounds.
Trailing 26-14 early in the first quarter, Cignal HD-Ateneo leaned on Ravena for a 50-45 halftime edge before pulling away for good in the second half.
The team now waits for the winner of the semifinal between CEU Scorpions and St. Clare Saints-Virtual Reality./ASC, WDJ
