The Iloilo United Royals, the newest Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) team, continues to build up its roster ahead of the upcoming season, which begins on June 12 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Two former Far Eastern University standouts recently joined the squad.
The team confirmed Richard Escoto and Al Francis Tamsi will be playing for the Iloilo-based side. The former previously played in the MPBL, suiting up for the Bataan Risers.
Also recently named to the team were Cedric de Joya and John Paul Siarot.
The Iloilo United Royals earlier revealed Samboy de Leon, Rey Publico, Donald Gumaru, Ryan Arambulo, Paul Reguera, and Jasper Parker would be playing for them; alongside Ilonggo players Jay Javelosa, Aaron Jeruta, Gerry Antonio Abadiano, Andrei Pantin, and Rhagnee Sinco./ASC, WDJ
