Wife of Banago man who stabbed his kids will not press charges

The wife of the Banago man who stabbed his two children, aged two and three years old, while under the influence of illegal drugs said she does not plan on pressing charges and insisted he will be enrolled in a drug rehabilitation program.
Police Station 3 (PS3) commander, Police Major Ruel Culanag, said, despite the wife refusing to pursue charges, the station will still coordinate with social workers for the possible filing of criminal charges against the suspect.
The suspect, a resident of Purok Sebucao in the said Bacolod City barangay, is set to be released after an 18-hour reglementary period.
Earlier, the suspect was arrested by PS3 after allegedly stabbing his two kids.
The suspect was noted to have been under the influence of illegal drugs at the time of incident and reportedly had not slept for five days./DGB, WDJ
