Trinity Christian School beats SJS-LS

Trinity Christian School earned their first win in the Bacolod Inter-School Alumni Basketball League over the weekend following their 98-88 victory over Saint Joseph School-La Salle (SJS-LS) at the St. John’s Institute gym.
Jason Gonzales led the win with 18 points, while Jett Joquino added 16 markers.
SJS-LS were on fire early in the game with Scott Salvacion spearheading the attack for a 20-11 advantage before keeping Trinity at bay at the half with a 37-29 edge.
Trinity sizzled in the third with a 31-18 blast for a 60-55 edge going into the final quarter with Gonzales and Joquino anchoring the offense.
Meanwhile, La Consolacion College-Bacolod fortified their second place position with a 113-91 victory over the Don Bosco Technical Institute.
Tommy Andren led the win with 22 points, including six triples; Shey Claridad added 20 markers, 18 of which came in the third; while Barlaj Sekhon delivered 16 points./ASC, WDJ
