The Negros Museum will be hosting two plays by acclaimed theatre director Anton Juan both today and tomorrow. The presentations will feature the Hiligaynon adaptations of Thorton Wilder’s “Our Town,” along with scenes from Caryl Churchill’s “Love and Information.”
The productions are part of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts Hanas scholarship program, which recognizes and develops local artists.
Prior to the presentation, Juan conducted a 10-day workshop for local theatre artists, cultural workers, and educators from across Negros Occidental.
The Hanas scholarship program began their theater production workshop last year and is scheduled to come to a close in July.
The plays begin at 6:00 p.m./WDJ
