A minor was killed yesterday afternoon after he was crushed by a 10-wheeler truck along Baywalk Boulevard in Bacolod City’s Barangay 14.
Police identified the fatality as 12-year-old Christian Savillo, a resident of Barangay 13 in the said city.
Based on information provided by the victim’s friends, they were flying kites in the area and were taking shelter from the heat under the truck.
The victim, who was reportedly hearing impaired, was backed over by a truck driven by 46-year-old Reagan Requiron.
Savillo was killed on the spot with his remains left unrecognizable.
Requiron, meanwhile, surrendered to Police Station 1 following the incident./DGB, WDJ
