After just over three years with Ceres-Negros FC, midfielder Kevin Ingreso recently announced he is leaving the club.
“It’s been a wonderful three and a half years with Ceres-Negros FC, the team has helped shaped my career,” he said in a social media post. “I am sad and happy at the same time that I’m leaving but I believe that I’ve taken a beautiful opportunity that will help me grow as an athlete.”
The announcement came after fans questioned his absence in the club’s 2019 Philippines Football League opener last weekend, where they drew Stallion-Laguna FC, 2-2.
As of press time, there is no indication of where Ingreso is headed next.
The midfielder is the fifth player to leave the Bacolod City-based club in the last few months, following striker Patrick Reichelt, midfielder Manuel Ott, defender Jerry Barbaso, and goalkeeper Toni Doblas./ASC, WDJ
