Alexie Mae Caimoso Brooks of Leon, Iloilo recently revealed she would be heading to National University (NU).
“I chose NU because I know they are willing to help me develop my full potential,” she explained. “Another [reason] why I chose NU [is] because I will take up [a] business course in the college and I believe it is the best school for that course.”
Caimoso Brooks earlier picked up medals in the 2019 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet and Palarong Pambansa.
She also hinted at possibly entering other sports.
“I want to focus first sa athletics sa first year ko at the same time I will get my body ready to try sa women’s basketball team nila (I want to focus on athletics in my first year and, at the same time, get my body ready to try out for their women’s basketball team),” Caimoso Brooks said. “I am also considering sa women’s volleyball team ng NU (I am also considering trying out for the NU women’s volleyball team).”/ASC, WDJ
