Bacolodnon player out for a month

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel shooting guard Jeffrei Chan may be out of the ongoing 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup for at least a month due to a sprained right ankle.
“Baka matagalan, masama kasi ‘yung bagsak ng paa (Recovery may take a while; it’s bad because it affects my leg),” he explained. “Initial test pa lang naman ‘yun tignan natin next week (There have only been initial tests so far, we will look at it next week).”
“Good thing talaga at sprain lang ‘yung injury at walang crack (It’s really good that it was just a sprain and nothing cracked),” the Bacolod City native added.
Chan picked up the injury during last week’s game against Blackwater Elite.
