PetroGazz stuns Creamline in opener

The PetroGazz Angels pulled off a stunning 25-22, 26-24, 25-22 sweep over defending champions Creamline Cool Smashers last Sunday in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at the San Juan Arena.
Wilma Salas led the win with 20 points on 18 attacks and two blocks, while Janisa Johnson added 16 markers.
The Angels weathered a late rally from the Cool Smashers in the third set, which chopped its four-point deficit to 23-22. Jeanette Panaga and Johnson then scored back-to-back points to complete the straight set win.
