Suspect claimed to be in a relationship with 13-year-old victim

A high school teacher was arrested on allegations of molesting a 13-year-old student last Friday.
While law enforcement has requested anonymity for both the victim and the suspect, Police Station 7 (PS7) commander, Police Major Sherlock Gabana, said the victim and her mother visited the station to file a complaint on the matter.
Police immediately conducted a follow-up operation against the suspect, which resulted in his arrest in Talisay City.
Gabana said the suspect claimed to be in a relationship with the victim and admitted to the crime.
The victim will undergo medical examination in order to confirm rape charges against the suspect, who is currently detained at PS7./DGB, WDJ
