Bacolodnon runner bags second gold medal

After earlier capturing gold for the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) in the 2019 PRISAA National Games secondary girls’ 400-meter dash event, Hannah Jandra Boteros Delotavo of Bacolod Tay Tung High School yesterday earned her second gold medal of the games in the secondary girls’ 200-meter dash at the University of Mindanao oval in Davao City.
While competing at the WVPRISAA Meet earlier this year, Boteros Delotavo picked up multiple medals including gold in the secondary girls’ 4×100 meter relay, along with silver in the 4×400 meter relay and 200-meter dash.
WVPRISAA also showed their talents in other events.
Kerr and Kenneth Longno, Jaylord Nicor, and Earl Joseph Carballo won gold in the tertiary men’s badminton team event; while Mariella Mabaquiao, Sharmaine Anecita, Lindsley Valeria, Mary Grace Bubongan, Frances Necole Caoyonan, and Solocasa Kimberly took silver in the tertiary women’s table tennis team event./ASC, WDJ
