Negros Occidental Governor-elect Eugenio Jose Lacson named Atty. Rayfrando Diaz as his provincial legal officer. The newly-appointed official previously served the post during the administration of former Governor Joseph Marañon.
He also previously served as Bacolod City legal officer.
The incoming governor said he has already invited somebody to serve as provincial administrator and assured his administration would hire the minimum number of executive assistants, while scaling back on consultants.
Lacson confirmed a formal turnover will take place on June 27, with an oath-taking scheduled for June 29.
The governor-elect said his transition team is now working and preparing for his first term as governor./DGB, WDJ
