Tay Tung runner captures gold

Hannah Jandra Boteros Delotavo of Bacolod Tay Tung High School yesterday captured gold for the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) in the 2019 PRISAA National Games secondary girls’ 400-meter dash event at the University of Mindanao oval in Davao City.
“It felt good because my hard work has paid off,” said the De La Salle University-recruited athlete. “I trained hard for PRISAA.”
In taekwondo, Jamie Hannah Agaloos of Bacolod City won two gold medals in the poomsae events, which are comprised of basic attack and defense motions associated with the martial art. She won in both the individual competition and the team event, alongside Ilongga athletes Cindy Joy Diasnes and Sophia Tungala.
Meanwhile, Shemaiah Anghel Anzano of Bacolod City bagged silver in tertiary women’s poomsae event and a bronze in the tertiary mixed pair poomsae event with Zachary Aguirre of Capiz./ASC, WDJ
